Guest guest
Hi Pam! I just thought I'd introduce myself. I have a daughter with CF and we live in Tallahassee, but she goes to the CF Center in Atlanta at Emory. Is that where you guys go? How are Gavin and Jake doing? My daughter is six and she's doing great! I have 2 boys with CF - Gavin, 3 1/2 and Jake 10months. They were dx a year ago - Jake through amnio after Gavin was dx. Anyway, I am the chairperson of the Great Strides Walk in Atlanta and remember reading that someone on here uses ribbons for its CF walkers for identifying purposes and to avoid cross contamination. I've been working on getting them for our walk (on May 3rd), because it's such a great idea. My questions to those of you who use them: what do they consist of? How are they perceived by those with CF? Does it seem to honor the patients or set them apart? How are they distributed? Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks, Pam mother of Gavin 3 1/2 wcf and Jake 10m wcf
