Guest guest
Sandy: I had a very similar situation happen to yours a couple of weeks ago. But the doctor that I saw locally at the ER said he didn't think I had cp, but when I went to s Hopkins the doctor who did the ERCP said, chronic pancreatitis does not go away, and that I should just stick with him. I don't know if this is any help to you, other than the fact that doctors seem to disagree all the time. I am having an additional ERCP to see why my pain has gotten worse, so I hope I am putting my trust in the right guy! He's the only one that was willing to help me during two years of misdiagnosis. Perhaps you could find a pain specialist in your area who is familiar with cp. Keep true to yourself! Hang in there!
