Guest guest
That is wonderful to be able to place yourself in such a calm state; clear your mind; and have dinner ready to boot. I did some thing similiar, put on a pot of bean soup then took a long walk in the yard ( I live on 16 acres) with my 2 youngest; we walked around one bend just to catch a deer grazing; it was a few seconds frozen in time for all participants; then she gently continued her walk as so did we, picking wild flowers and huge pinecones. It is the little things that are truly the most valuable, my kids and I will remember the look in that gentle creatures eyes forever, first fear, then recognizing no threat. Like the small things you and your daughter had done, mending a teddy bear, and now she is getting married (I did look, ya'll are both beautiful). My eldest is 17, and she will be gone soon. Bitter-sweet. I hope the soothing jets have made you feel better; and keep me posted on how things go with the docs. Warmly with love
Guest guest
Heidi, I'm so glad you took some time out for yourself. This is something my psychologist always says is necessary for people with chronic pain. They need more pleasureable activities, whether it's a jacuzzi soak, reading a favorite book, eating a favorite meal, or just doing something that makes you smile or laugh. Good for you Heidi!
