Guest guest
Micheal I can't say that Cassie or i have Kidney disease but. All 3 of cassie's last altrasounds have one kidney remalkablly larger than the other. They have tryed to play it off as equipment malfunctions all 3 times. The first 2 I could see they where 2 weeks apart, 3rd one was last month (18 months later). On the other hand my mother has 2 different types of nephritis, was diagnosed 5 yrs ago with only 30% function of both. was supose to be on dialisys within 2 years, she's still holding her own at 30% and no dialysis. She swears its her diet, dr can't figure out how she's doing it. She eats a low fat diet, and only vegtable protiens no meats or animal products. She also only drinks water and tea. Most of the time. She saw a dietician and if she eats the diet prescribed to her she's sick as a dog. Vomiting, pain in her kidneys and stomach, sleepy all the time. Before she found out what was wrong she'd be talking to you and fall asleep mid sentence. Played hell with her respetory system to. They treated her for pnemonia for 4 months before they finally tested her kidney functions. I have been saying for a while with her that there may be a tie-in with pancreatitis because somesymptoms are so similar but she so damn stuborn after Cassie's 1st acctack back in 2000 she's still convinced it has to be something else besides Pancreatitis. She is in denial , makes family support hard God bless Patty Hurst Bangor, ME Maine State Rep PAI
