Guest guest
Hiya Folks, It's been awhile since I have contributed, but Cameron and I are still " out here " and reading posts from you all. Cameron (almost 11 year old son) is in the middle of what has turned out to be a 7 day attack so far.... and I am waiting for him to show signs of coping or improving so I can go into the hospital for a hysterectomy. I was reading about how a few of you were using a durogesic patch....is this for chronic pain relief? How the heck do you get a dr to help with pain management? I only get " you need to go to the ER " . Their only solution is to knock Cameron out with Demerol or Morphine for a week or so....and then send him back home. Is this patch something that allows a little " normal " life at home? (We both almost live on Darvocet right now.) Thanks for anything you can clarify, Donna Womack (Cameron's Mom) Fort Worth, TX
