There are many areas covered on this site as well as a really accurate descrip tion of the disease--making it understandable that doctors who are not truly knowledgeable about cystic fibrosis might confuse the two. Crohn's, however, has no sodium chloride loss component, and no known specific lung involvement, and as yet, no clear genetic mutations. I hope this will be hopeful to those attempting to get a clear differential diagnosis for their children and/or themselves!
