The doctors where not sure here what could be causing this pain but after a recent ultrasound a new Dr. that has seen him has found that Brandans spleen is enlarged and might be causing this pain? He is scheduled for a CT yet again next week to see if this is the cause. Hi Peg, I am so sorry that Brandans school attendance was cut short due to pain. Sue also had to have her spleen removed after the pancreatectomy. I had my spleen removed when I had my pancreas removed so I don't have any pain. I hope that Brandan will be pain free very soon. I am so sorry. I know you and your whole family will take one day at a time and think only positively. That's the only way to get through this disease. Please tell Brandan that all will work out for him and he will be in school and living a normal life very soon. I am so pleased that Brandan can eat all of the foods that he had to avoid for so many years. Please send me a picture of Brandan by PC or my address is Shirley Ferguson, 1705 Nagel Road, Cincinnati, Ohio 45255 Hang in there all of you. Love, Shirley PS It was great meeting you Peg at the symposium. I feel that we have been friends forever.
