Guest guest
Hello to all, Here is a subject that I can give my two cents worth of advice. A couple of years ago, no now 4 years ago Ainslie started using cipro as her backup antibiotic, after the 2nd or 3rd time of using it she began to have sore knee joints. Paed said not to worry, basically growing pains, but I wasn't convinced so took her to the GP who listened to my concerns about cipro and joint pain and checked Ainslie. Well it turned out that she had one leg nearly 1cm shorter than the other so she sent us off to the podiatrist who examined Ainslie and described that she is hyperflexible. This added to the difference in leg length could possibly be causing her pain. She now has inserts for her shoes to correct her leg posture (couldn't think of the correct wording) and voila - no more pain in her legs except when she goes long periods without the inserts.
