Guest guest
Dear , I'm sorry to hear of all your troubles with chronic pancreatitis. Do you have an official diagnosis of the disease? Yes, it is possible to get disability from SSDI, but in all truth, it is very difficult, so if you are considering this, I suggest you start now. The process can take a long time, and many people have applied, been denied, and have had to appeal over and over again. There are only a few that have obtained disability on their first attempt. You need to have an established work record for a certain number of years before you are eligible to apply. If you go to this site listed below, you can find a lot of information on pancreatitis, and applying for disability. There is also much information online by going to the Social Security Disability Administration's webpage, and it is possible to apply online for most computer user's, except Mac's. Here's the site for more info: http://www.top5plus5.com/ If you have any other questions, please post again. With hope and prayers, Heidi Heidi H. Griffeth South Carolina SC & SE Regional Rep.
