Guest guest
, Guess I'm probably addicted to Xanax then. I have been taking 1/2 to 1 mg a night for several years. Only because I'm so afraid an attack will come in the middle of the night, that I don't want to sleep. Taking this little pill makes me feel better, almost like one can't come as long as I take one. I don't take them at any other time, except right before bed. And they don't make me sleepy anymore, like they did in the beginning. I guess it's more for my own piece of mind more than anything else. There are times I forget to take it and then wake up about an hour after falling alseep and take it, all in fear of an attack. I have tried not taking it for 3 nights in a row a few times. But I never slept well those nights and the pain was much worse. Oh well, I suppose. If thats the hardest thing I get " hooked " on in my lifetime because of this dreaded disease, then so be it. The percocet they gave me for taking at home to control pain makes me very VERY wired so I don't take that hardly at all. And it doesn't always control all the pain. It's hard being in pain and being wired at the same time. Wish there was a drug that really worked for everyone the same way. I'm allergic to most of the harder drugs available out there, so I have to stick to what works for my body. Thanks for the info.
