I am putting a shout out to all who have used a dynavox and anyone else who has any input. is using a dynavox thanks to his teachers suggesting it and my district doing trial run. he is 7 years old and in 1st grade. at first loooved it but when they started to use it in a class with more typical kids he did not want to use it. it seems like he doesn't want to stand out. another thing is he talks and gets frustrated rather than use the dynavox. I just don't get it. one of things well the only thing i don't like about it is it sounds like robot. do you guys think that could be the case too? I would ask him but i don't want to put any negative ideas in his head. he only has a week and 1/2 left to the trail and i;m hoping he will go to it more. does anyone have any suggestions and had the same experince? oh there are some positive things like he likes to spell on and we put information that would help him class that he could go to (he has done this) thanks for any info chris Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
