Guest guest
When I first started taking my enzymes (CREON), I had terrible lower abdominal cramps, usually in the evening although, from the very beginning, they helped with diarrhoea etc. After a few weeks these particular cramps stopped. I wish someone had warned me that this could happen. At the time I thought my CP was getting even worse than it had been. Take heart if you happen to have a reaction to your enzymes; time and/or a change of brand of enzymes could help. As always, it is wise to speak to your docs about this aspect of things. I take my capsules during the course of the meal so that they are spaced out. It doesn't bother me having to take them, even in a restaurant. To the casual eye they could simply be antibiotics .....or any kind of medication. People often have to take medication with meals so it's not an issue for me. I hope you find a solution. It's not particularly nice having to think about these things all the time but I think it usually gets easier as you get more practice. Best wishes and good luck, Fliss
