Guest guest
Who were you asking? I personally Kept on having children because I wanted them .I have had 12 miscarriages to have the 8 kids I have.CF is not the END of the WORLD it is just a different world. My husband has a DNA translocation that gives a 1 in 4 % chance of having a live baby. Maybe some of us are just more determined to Live Life to the Fullest ! Why didn't you have any more? Nothing personal I'm just curious why you would give up on future children. Is cf that scary? I think the crazy mixed up world we live in is scarier than any thing ! BeckyB.Mama to 8 kids,2 w/cf,Nana to 2.
Guest guest
I only wanted 2 children, so after Nick was a few months old, I was fixed. Nick wasn't diagnosed until he was 16 mos. old, after we were wrongly accused of child abuse. His older brother, Jake, was a big strong healthy happy baby. Once we knew what was wrong with Nick, I was glad we had made the choice not to have anymore children. Thank you for sharing and asking, Amber Nick's mom
Guest guest
Isn't always that way with doctors? I was accused of having munchousans by proxy, because I brought in every single month for the first year of her life. She had an unexplained cough, never had a solid bowel movement and only weighed around 17 pounds at one year. All the signs of CF. I have taken no offense to your question. I have often wondered myself. How are you going to learn if you never ask? Jen A. mom to 4, Yoli 3, and Phynix 10 months and running all w/cf.
