Guest guest
Bev, I would be very interested if you could mail me a copy of this booklet for teachers and caregivers. I have had a small amount of trouble with this sort of thing in my childrens school. In saying that though our school has been extremely cooperative and goes the extra mile for us. a Varga 35 Queen Street, ville. 4307 Australia. bev wrote: I have a booklet for info for teachers & child care employees,Perhaps you could glean some info from that.If you would like I could mail that to you.let me know with the addy LOVE & HUGS, grandmomBEv SCHOOLS WHAT I WOULD LIKE TO KNOW IS. EILISH STARTS SCHOOL IN A WEEK FOR THIS YEAR. THERE WILL BE ABOUT 20 NEW KIDS IN HER CLASS (as all the others have moved on). I WOULD LIKE TO ACTUALLY HAVE A NOTE OR SOMETHING TO PRINT OUT TO GIVE TO HER TEACHER TO GIVE OUT TO THE PARENTS JUST EXPLAINING CF AND HOW NOT TO SEND A ILL CHILD TO SCHOOL. LAST YEAR IT WORKED WELL JUST TALKING TO THEM,BUT THEN EILISH WAS A NEW CHILD SO ALL THE KIDS GOT TO KNOW HER. THIS YEAR ALL THE OTHER PARENTS WILL BE NEW AND THEY ARE NOT AS FORTHCOMING WHEN THEY ARE NEW. HAS ANYONE DONE THIS OR KNOW WHAT I SHOULD WRITE. THANKS JULIE p.s. Great to watch Andre Agassi beat the German guy (cant remember his name). I really like Andre.

Guest guest
Don't let them fool you. Ese is for a totally different are of your child's academics than a 504. 504 is for health reasons and ese is academic. He should have both. They will tell you this because it's easier for them, but it doesn't include home tutors ect that your child will probably need. in MD mom of sam 14 w/cf matty & bobby no cf schools > hi everybody > i would like to know if any one knows the difference from an ese > plan and the 504 william starts reg school this year i called the > asst principal to get everything in order and i said that i wanted > to set up a 504 plan she told me that because hes already clasified > as ese that it would have better benefitsa for him does anyone else > have this ese is also for disabilities william is developmentally > delayed to a certain extent and it is supposedly something that can > be corrected so if anyone has any info or exp on the eseplan and > 504plan (which one is better) please help > thanks jeannie mom to william 5yowcf & hannah15monocf > > > > > ------------------------------------------- > The opinions and information exchanged on this list should IN NO WAY > be construed as medical advice. > > PLEASE CONSULT YOUR PHYSICIAN BEFORE CHANGING ANY MEDICATIONS OR TREATMENTS. > > ------------------------------------ > > >
