If I don't have any oil, I use a hair dryer set on low, and blow just behind their ear. We also give them tylenol, etc. Dawn mom of 4, 7 and under, the youngest wcf sore ears CAN ANYONE TELL ME IF THE OLD WISE REMEDY OF OLIVE OIL IN THE EAR FOR PAIN IS AN APPROPRIATE TREATMENT. Curious me looked at the ingredients once and was surprised as it cost more (quantity wise) in the little bottle found in the drug section than the big bottle found in the ~sketti~ section.
