Guest guest
Hi Liam is 9 months and he is startting to not want a feed at lunch time or dinner time, only wanting solids, he normally has about 4-5 feeds a day, he only wants about 2 or 3 What is he doing?? He doesnt like a bottle and he hardly drinks any water out of a feeding cup. What happens at this stage?? He is teething at the moment so maybe this is the problem but he hasnt been like this before. He still eats heaps of solids. Worried mum who really wants to keep breast feeding mum to baby Liam wcf 9 months
Guest guest
Maybe some baby oragel for the teething it does cause them to be messy feeders as their mouth is kinda numb but it does work. They don't want to suck with a tooth pain as the sucking intensifies the throbbing of their teeth.Babies of his age are developing an outside interest in the world beyond Mama sometimes feeding before meals in a quiet place works to let them have down time to eat(not being stimulated by everything they see) I hope this helps.I breastfed 8 kids and the last one being another preemie took 29 months to get him on milk (ALL formula made his severe reflux so much worse we thought he was going to die from starvation.Good for you and Liam as we who have been there know it is a beautiful treasure of a time with our babies but it can be hard too.Best Wishes BeckyB.-Mama to 8 -2w/CF
