Amy My intro/Calendar I have found this message board and I come reading the posts over the past month to learn, and understand more about CF. I do not know anyone personally with CF but I wanted to educate myself more about this horrible disease. I really enjoy this group and find it a very informative resource. I am in my 20's and one of my brothers who is also in his 20's was born with some medical problems so I kind of understand what you guys are going through. He was born with Spina Bifida. He has some developmental delays, night time seizures and needs some bathroom assistance. GrandmomBev, if you have an extra calendar I would like to have one. Are you in nursing studies....or plan to be?? It sounds like your interest in others ,would make you a strong candidate.. I am glad you include your address. Guest guest Posted February 17, 2003 Report Share Posted February 17, 2003 Hi Bev, No I am not in nursing studies. My mom got a degree in nursing but she quit that profession after having kids. I am studying Human Geography, Geographic Information Systems(GIS) and some (City) Planning. I have to do a spring quarter project for GIS, where I show some information on a map along with associated data tables. I don't have a topic yet. If there was a way to work CF into it I would. Hi, n What a small world that you know some one from Bellingham. Do you know if they work in the public school system or are part of the university here? To group, I have lived in the Seattle Area all my life and I like it here. It doesn't get too hot or too cold. I don't have to worry about severe thunderstorms, blizzards, tornadoes etc. I am still waiting for the first snow.
