You wrote, " all of my attacks have started on an empty stomach. " I have seen

many people who develops attacks when their stomach is empty. Many people

have an overproduction of enzymes in their stomach and having food prevents

their

caustic attack on the stomach, yet, when the stomach is allowed to empty, the

enzymes can then exacerbate Pancreatitis.

You wrote, " f I drink any kind of soda, whoaaa..it puts my pancreas into

spasms and can also bring on an attack " This is a varied complaint. Many p[eople

feel that any type of carbonation is bad. For myself, there is nothing that

makes me feel better than to have a nice glass of naturally carbonated spring

water. For instance I drink La Croix sparkling water with natural orange flavor.

Soft drinks on the other hand are full of artificial ingredients.

What I have learned is that what we eat is a very individualized program.

Listen to your body and keep a log and you can determine what works for you and

what doesn't.
