Guest guest Posted March 13, 2003 Report Share Posted March 13, 2003 I agree with all of you...But I have a big problem with " Make a Wish " You see we approached them not once but 3 times and each time got the same thing. They wanted my sons doc to sign a paper that stated that he..my son would not live past the age of 18 then they would grant his wish this was when DJ was 10, 11, & 12 when we called when he was 12 I was told that there program had changed and that they were granting wishes of CF kids......Wrong they told me that same thing again wanted the doc to sign a paper that stated that DJ wouldn't live past his 18th birthday. I told her I knew he wouldn't do that because our doc does not belive that and neither do I Nor would i want to see that down on paper...so the lady told me if my sons prognoses changed to call them back....ya right i told her what she could do with her program and I will not support them at all....There was one program that did grant my sons wish and that was " Full fill a Wish " and it was out of FL...them I would support and recommend.....
