Guest guest
Hi Paget - Just wanted to say I wish you all the best with your surgery. It is very scary to think about getting off of pain meds after being on them so long, and I'm not on anything nearly as strong as you are. I hope they have a good plan to wean you off. I grew up in Delaware but am in the Pacific Northwest now. Where in Delaware do you live? Take care - Anita Re; Whipple
Guest guest
Paget, don't worry about getting off the pain meds. If you have a good doctor, they will take you off them slowly so that there will be no problems. We are here for you any time you need to talk. Let us know when your surgery is so that we can send cards to you. And it's perfectly normal to be anxious and miserable about any large surgery. It's a big step and so you feel anxious about it. That's normal and I'd be more worried if you weren't anxious about it. Kimber -- Kimber Vallejo, CA hominid2@... Guest guest
Paget, I know that you are glad to have made a decision. Please let us know what hospital you will be at when you have the Whipple.
