Guest guest
Hi , the culprit of the SARS was identified as a Paramyxovirus. That's a family of viruses where for example the measles virus belongs to. And the three patients here in Germany are doing better now. It's still a scary disease, especially for people whose lungs are already in worse shape. But since the docs have a handle now they will come up with some good treatments soon. Hope you can go to Greece another time. Peace Torsten, dad of Fiona 6wcf e-mail: torstenkrafft@... SARS > Has anyone heard more about this mystery pnuemonia that is sweeping > from Asia? Guest guest
I agree with what others have said about wearing a mask. At our clinic those with CF wear a mask the whole time they are there. While SARS is certainly a concern, I would thing that there are also other bugs out there much more likely to attack our little ones with CF. The mask is a simple way to reduce that risk.
