Dear Karyn,

You don't have to be autistic to have an addiction to dairy. You just need a

leaky damaged gut (Crohn's counts you in!). If you think cheese is holding your

progress back, try different types of meats to substitute. Broaden your

horizons...Duck, Cornish hens, scallops, claims, Grab legs, shrimp, mussels,

lobster, salmon steaks, tuna steaks, trout, cat fish, goose, elk, deer, other

types of fish...........think out side the box! Don't know for a fact that you

may be doing this already...we got real board real fast when we where doing

chicken, beef and pork day in and day out......once gut heals will eat the

cheese (and look forward to it).....this is the only way our family sees better

progress in the beginning.

Food for thought, Antoinette (day 43 entire family SCD not all autistic many

problems related to a damaged gut)

Re: Still Not Seeing Results/addicted?

That's true, she's not autistic - she has Crohn's/UC. I'm going to try

going off of the farmer's cheese today anyway just to see if it makes a

difference. The problem is she keeps wanting more food! I give her

breakfast and she wants more, but I'm trying to limit so many foods.

I'm going to try to push the meat today, but she's so sick of it.

Thanks for all the advice.

Karyn
