Hello Everyone,

The PAI is operated exclusively on funds received through donations,

contributions, sponsorships, and gifts. Different levels of sponsorship are

available for companies and individuals. Honorariums may be given to honor a

person or group dedicated to curing this disease. A Memorial may be given to

honor the memory of someone who has passed due to Pancreatitis.

The PAI is in a catch 22 because we need 501C3 certification to accept monies

as tax deductible. And, we need money to get 50IC3 certification.

I have been working on the nonprofit certification for sometime. I am at a

point to where I need to pay for the services of an accountant and attorney

to finalize these preparations and submit the licensing fees. I do not have

the money to get this done.

I need money to bring Dr. Sutherland here, pay for the conference hall, and

pay for all the other symposium incidental. Members of the PAI will attend

free.

The purpose of this email is to serve as a plea for donations, gifts, or

contributions now even though they won't be tax deductible yet. They will be

retroactively tax deductible. Making a public plea like this will not be a

continued practice, as the vision of the PAI is to provide all of its

services free of charge, and not bother the general membership with worries

of the day to day operations and financial responsibilities of maintaining

the services of the PAI.

The goal of the email is to recruit money for the following:

$850 Nonprofit Fees

$2050 Symposium Costs

$2900 Total money needed

I need $425.00 now to give the accountant to begin finalizing the nonprofit

application. In three weeks I need the other $425.00. Checks and credit cards

can be accepted. If you live in Indianapolis, arrangements can be made to

accept cash.

A complete financial representation will be provided to anyone wishing to

review it. You will be given a receipt that will be tax deductible after the

process is completed.

I know that most of us do not work and have literally no money or just enough

to keep food on the table and a roof over our mouths. But I also know that if

I don't put out our needed to the Universe, they don't have a chance in

getting met.
