Dr. Cotton is originally from England.   He came to Duke University Medical

Center ... and then ... MUSC ... his specialty is the pancreas... Kaye

Kaye,

I think Dr. Cotton would be the next person we should try and get for the

Symposium.

Dr. Sutherland is a surgeon, Dr. Cotton is a Gastroenterologist, and would

offer an entirely different viewpoint. I have heard nothing but fine remarks

from him.

Hi Karyn, I understand completely. Even though I had the pancreatectomy and

don't have that illness anymore I continue to have chronic Hepatitis B and it

seems to worsen everyday. I get so sad and so frustrated that I am unable to

do anything but sit. I feel that my hands and feet are tied down and all

sorts of thoughts go through my head, what needs to be done, what I would like

to

do and it is impossible to do what I desire to do. I make plans and

invariably I have to cancel them. I know that people can't count on me and I

hate

that.

You are a survivor and I believe that your inventive mind that won't stop

thinking how to improve keeps you going. I am so sorry that you missed the

dulcimer festival. I know that you were looking forward to going. Hang in

there

and keep on ticking. I intend to. Love, Shirley
