Guest guest
Dear , When is sick like that, I don't wake him up for any meds or tmts. Hope she gets to feeling better soon ) !!!!! Deana Mom to 12 nocf, and 6 wcf out to dinner We took the kids out to dinner last night. They did very well, behaviour wise. This morning Eilish has woken up with vomiting and high temp. So someone must have been unwell at someplace we went to yesterday. She is lying here, very quietly, watching rug rats. What do you do if your child is unwell and sleepy, with regard to physio, masks etc. Do you just miss that treatment or wake them up and do it no matter what? She has two masks in the morning and two in the evening at the moment to move her cough, which has all but gone. I haven;t done this morning's as I am hoping by lunch time she will be more alert and then I'll do it. Thanks (Australia)
Guest guest
If they are suffering from any type of upset stomach and/or vomiting we skip chest pt's (vest). I try to make them breathe - unless vomiting......... I am tough....We have a rule - if you have over 102.5 no treatments...my kids are the only ones who wish they had a high temp!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Hang in there! Rosemary from New York with 3 children with CF - they are 12.5, 10, 6...... I coined the phrase " BREATHE DAMMIT " ; we have a dog we named -are you ready for this - TOBI after their medication!!! At least it wasn't albuterol or Coly... Guest guest
Deana, I didn't end up waking her up either. She had one treatment late last night and as usual again today. She slept all day and night. She is home from school today, just in case. Mainly because her temp was still up at 4am this morning but she seems fine now.
