Guest guest
Dylan survived his surgery. Polps, annoids, etc.. Dr. said Cat Scan didn't show extent of sinus' accutately. It was all infected and all over - he was shocked child could breathe! Only 20% clear on one side and other side with poplp coming out totally closed. Gosh, was it a long day. He freaked over all sensory stuff. This is cute - when we went into Operating room he sat on the table and panicked - said " I AM GOING TO FALL OFF THIS TABLE - ITS TOO SMALL " . When he woke up in recovery he noticed guaze covering IV - He looked at me and Dr. and said....smugly, for a 6 yr old, See, I told you I would fall off the table! I broke my arm now! He went crazy over blood pressures cuff, pulse ox on toe, IV, etc. it was a long, long day.... He woke up and was fine. No vomiting, etc. Anaseologist was wonderful. He told me that with kids a good rule of thumb is if they have motion sickness and migranes they tend NOT to tolerate anethesia that well. did awful and has both of those things. Dylan doesn't and did great! Rosemary from New York with 3 children with CF - they are 12.5, 10, 6...... I coined the phrase " BREATHE DAMMIT " ; we have a dog we named -are you ready for this - TOBI after their medication!!! At least it wasn't albuterol or Coly...
