Guest guest
Do you get your medicine from the CF Services pharmacy in Bethesda? If so, call Robin , she is the Vice President, and tell her of your predicament. She will surely send you out a Pari Neb right away. If not, look in your phone book for medical supply establishments. They should at least have some disposal nebs that you could use in a pinch. Also, I clean my son's nebs in a solution called Control III Disinfectant. It is a concentrated cleaner. You only use one capful, diluted in water. I have a tupperware container I mix it in. The solution is good for 2 weeks, which is why one bottle lasts us a whole year. You just soak the nebs for at least 10 minutes, I usually soak overnight, then rinse with water and allow them to air dry. I hope this helps you. Amber, mom of Nick (who turns 14 today!!!!!!) Guest guest
I did that with one of the kids baby bottles. It happens.. Except bottles are easier to replace. Rosemary from New York with 3 children with CF - they are 12.5, 10, 6...... I coined the phrase " BREATHE DAMMIT " ; we have a dog we named -are you ready for this - TOBI after their medication!!! At least it wasn't albuterol or Coly...
