Guest guest
Anita It's funny that you mention this. I have been trying for 1 1/2 years to get standing order for her lab work. You know amylase and lipase levels when I call and say I want her seen I think it's her pancreas. No luck there. My husband and I were just discussing the overall attitude at her pediatricians office regarding anything I bring up about her care. They just seem to ignore it or come back with that's not what Dr' fox in Boston said. I wish we could get more cooperation and understanding. Even with her dx we still play stupid games every time. " oh it cant be pancreatitis again, she must have strep " well after that comes back negative then we have to do a unrine test cause it could be a " bladder infection " , which she has never ever had. Like everyone else who suffers from this we have or own problems with the DR. Thanks for your odeas and concern. I hope today finds you pain free, God bless Patty Hurst Bangor, ME Maine State Rep PAI
Guest guest
Hi Patty - I'd hate to wish this disorder on anyone, but don't you sometimes wish the doctors would get it just for a little while so they could know what it feels like. I know some are great -but others have that doctor complex, like we dont know what our own bodies feel like or are telling us. Keep insisting and standing up for your rights and your daughter's! Remember, the doctors work for YOU! All my best. Keep in touch and let me know how things are going - Anita Re: Re: anita (have Dr. call ahead?) Anita It's funny that you mention this.
