What, I did not know that acetaminophine is an irritant to the pancreas!! Boy,

you really do learn something every day.

I have been switched recently from Vicodin ES to Percocet 10/650. I know there

is a 10/325, maybe I should be on this?

Please let me know what y'all know about this Tylenol thing!!

Thanks so much.

Dear ,

I've been taking Percocet for breakthrough pain for a couple

years now. I'm on 10/325's, which has to be specially written as

" Percocet 10/325 " on the prescription, otherwise the pharmacy

will give you 10/650's. I switched to the lower dosage of

acetaminophine because of my concern over too high a dose of

tylenol, which is know to be an irritant and cause liver damage if

taken in excessive amounts.

Just ask your doctor to change the script for you. I'm sure there

won't be any objection, as it's better for you.

With hope and prayers,

,

I didn't know that acetamenophine affected the pancreas, but

I do know that if you take too much over a long period of

time, it is damaging to the liver.
