Guest guest
Hello Shelley, I'd just gone to " find " the contact address for Tony Crispin but I see Kimber has already given in to you. (Thank you Kimber!) I'm sure you'll find him a great support anyway, as I do. Kimber's question about standards for pain relief is very interesting. I don't know the answer but I'm sure there must be official guidelines. Jim Armour's contact address is on the other board. I know he thinks very highly of Professor Neoptolemos who has written the information booklets for the Supporters' Network. I have to say that I have found Prof. superb. However, I don't know any others and Liverpool may be very far from where you live. That's also a factor. I believe I remember the Middlesex Hospital (don't know full correct name) being mentioned by someone as having a very good panc specialist but these things obviously change from time to time. Kimber is right. You shouldn't have to put up with pain or wait until 2004 to see a pain management specialist. Good luck again! Keep us posted.
