IT HAS BEEN A WHILE SINCE I HAD TIME TO STOP & WRITE MANY .

O.K.. EVERYONE---I SURE HOPE THIS FINDS YOU ALL DOING REALLY WELL & OF

COURSE , THOSE WHO AREN'T , THAT YOU WILL IMPROVE QUICKLY.

So much is going on with me .This is the time of year where I am doing

allot of ED /family days around the country. I love them . I get to meet

the nicest folks, many of you here on the lists too.such lovely welcomes

from you all. thanks you so much.

I do believe that those of us in this CF community are so much more

aware of people & show such caring. The value of kindness is so much

there. AGAIN, All I can say is Thank You .This Friday I leave for

Gainesville for the ED /Family day at Shands.It will be at the Wayne

Reitz Center ----AGAIN, YOU ALL COME!!!.. Next--I will be leaving for

CA. (Fresno area to next Friday(21st) -their Ed/Family Day is Sat. 22

at the Central CA Children's Hospital (was Valley )I know some from list

are coming & I hope many , many more will too. We will be going south

thru the week , heading to Children's of Orange County Hospital

Ed/Family day on March 29th-YOU ALL COME TOO!!! Its FREE:)

Back to Orlando on the 30th , in office on 31st. :)

FAELA.. My what a delightful young lady you are. I admire your

aggressiveness with your CF..To be as concerned and aware of all it

takes is very refreshing .I know you will stay well for a very long

time. I do hope you dad wakes up to there real world & you will not

have these bouts will " ugh " feelings.take care. I look forward to your

posts and the outcome with your dad & his smoking..

TARA, GREAT having you on the list too. we have enjoyed your mom Cloyce

& aunt , now one more of a super family is here. I am also looking

forward to meeting you in person next week at the ED Day.I was looking

at the " old " pictures of you during TX that your mom had sent me. Gosh,

what a pretty gal you are..see ya soon...

CHRIS.. what a wonderful surprise to see you on list. We really miss you

too. I know it is hard & really do understand, BUT , we love you !! Come

on line ANYTIME you feel up to it. Boy, do you ever know enough to be a

great help to all. take care, remember -we are here for you too!!

KARI.. Nice to see your post WELCOME . 27 years old... GREAT.Your

experiences will allow you to be a super resource on different meds

etc., especially with the seizures meds, for all of us. I am so very

happy you have been doing so well take care & I will look for another

update from you soon.

HAL, PHYLLIS, Have a super time on your trip & do take great care of

each other. oh, happy another well year for Phyllis too.beating the big

'C " is wonderful .ENJOY!!

GRAN3108.. NICE NAME -:):)I hope I didn't misspell it, I do that

often. I am not the worlds greatest typist.like all hadn't noticed

yet-haheha-my granddaughter has CF also .She will 19 on August 3.... & is

doing very well .She is 6 ft tall goes away to college up in the

mountains so she can ski/snowboard, cross-country run, etc........

you will be doing that watching soon too. there are so very many

different drinks, supplements -whatever to help gain weight.You came to

the right place on these lists.

there are several as you can see by the TO box at the top of post.Each

has MUCH to offer. ..the first year is hard , but she will start to get

better for she appears to have much love around her -in her

gran..................see you on the list!!

RON MARLETT.. thanks for caring so much for your patients. I am double

sure you are going to get lots of info from each . All parts of the

family with Cf in them is much more serious & of stress factor for

them. many folks who haven't seen or been around it , just don't get

it.BUT -You will & your " teachers " here on these lists will make sure no

chapter in your learning curve is missed. love to you & again a big

THANK YOU !!

CHRISTAL..You are about to get off that roller coaster soon. After

awhile & especially as you are being pro active on lists -your knowledge

will help ease the stress & fears for your precious son......You are

sure a very dedicated mom. We love your on the list. Prayers will help

for us all & it certainly gives us something to hold on to in those

crunch times.Getting the DX is so frightening at first , BUT .knowing

what the illness is & knowing how/what to treat it with & for .is the

beginning of a much smoother day to day & lifetime. take care , we are

all here for each other. Your impute is so valuable to us as well.-have

a great week ...

NORMA JEAN.. I know your trying to be all spit/clean/ & shine for that

precious new baby coming soon. BUT.. you need to be very careful & not

overdue.it sure sounds like you are doing that though......... it was

very nice to hear your new clinic sounded so very concerned & ready to

be there for you. That is especially nice at this time . I

know we should have that at all timed. maybe if more " RON'S " coming into

the SW degree area, it can happen. I truly am so glad they have finally

realized how very important they are for the CF team.. good luck, keep

us up on all that is happening :)

PAM Palmer... WELCOME to the public posting .we are so glad you came out

of lurkdom .We need you & want you & your knowledge among us .Being such

a close

worker/.friend to a person with CF gives us another different aspect &

outlook on CF.

NANCY.. you have your hands full when you have a 14 year old w/CF .your

daughter sounds like a great kid.. I am glad she has been very

well in her 14 years too..A typical teen though. They are sure we

adults(especially parents) aren't quite cool yet. your family is sounds

like fun.........Hope to hear more each day .Have a wonderful

KRISTY D.... I think your hobbies sound so fascinating-scrap

booking.Gollee. what a clever thing. I have walked by the stores /craft

store that have classes in them on doing just this. Then check their

displays & my gosh, how clever. I always just stick them in book & tape.

:)I guess I wont win any contests , you think?? hahehehe

It is very good that you have started at the gym. Such a good healthy

activity for all.best wishes in all your challenges..

TRICIA.T... Gosh, your hobby is also really interesting Rubber STAMP

pressing / & collecting. now folks , this isn't like postage stamps. it

is design & fun stamps. really is very creative.That is something we did

years ago , Almost like stenciling . Wow!! see folks , more ideas for

fun stuff when stuff in side too.......ENJOY this one as well

JULIE B..it sounds like your doing well as can be for now. I hope the

weather is delightful there too. How was your outing with hubby &

friends. I have been off & on to answer few posts lately & couldn't

remember how that turned out . I would guess it was fine. you seem to

of the ED days in CA this year.?? We will be at FRESNO 21st.then Orange

county 30th, then CFRI in REDWOOD CITY ,CA in July 25-27.Sure do wish

Sorry to hear about Christy being in hospital A card is on its merry way

to her. She wont know who the nut is calling herself grandmomBEv, but

that ought to bring her a smile anyway. love & lots of get well wishes

For all the folks I met in ville Ed day. It was so wonderful & I

enjoyed it so very much. I hope you all did too.very good information as

well.I hope you read all the things I gave you in the bag. there will

be a test on Friday .remember .Friday is always test day :):)I don't

give pop quizzes.I hated them!!! hahaehehe

OH, another bit of news for our friends in CA. we will be renewing our

Medi-Cal providership soon & I am so happy about that. paperwork takes

forever, so I will let you know when .or you can call me

have some. I will be sending out to those who include their mailing

address on request post.........

I am strapped for time , SO YOU please, remember, I wont have time to

remind you .......If you have them already, fine, then I will get to

those who don't have. I have a limited number 7 hope to get more before

school starts as well.

AGNES, it seems the winter will be leaving soon.right??? So get ready to

plan a trip to FL. :):)I hope your boss /friend is doing well .those

treatments are a bullet BUT they do work so well for many. By the way,

How is the Diabetes doing .? Lois asked about you this morning. She was

writing her speech for the CA. & included CFRD.I told her you were well

& getting ready to go to the Ocean ???? she just laughed at that. then I

explained...hugs to & Bob!!

MARION. Guess what. CA MED-ICAL is reopening provider ship as we are

a specialty & we are sending in paperwork. We will know in few weeks. I

am sure they aren't fast in that dept. Hope all works out for us/it.

ERIN . How are the books going. I know that it will open up really soon.

They are WONDERFUL & such a helper . They cut clinic in half when you

have all the info at your finger tip on pages right there. Good luck .

everyone should have , even for the older ones. they could keep the

journal themselves..

DOUG.. I am sorry to hear your feeling so very crappy today . I praying

your going to be better soon. Those meds will kick in & will get to work

for you ! ! Your doing well for an old man of 38 :)take care
