Hello Everyone,

Just wanted to let everyone know that Ruby and I are back home from up

north. It was a very long stay away from home. Although I ended up in the

hospital for eight days while away from home I must admit it was a good trip all

in all. Very stressful under the circumstanses but we got to visit with alot of

family and friends that we hadn't been able to see for along time.

We just got home today from a visit to my Doctor in ton. I have

gained back eight pounds that I lost and the doctor fixed my feeding tube. It

was getting quite inflamed around the edges and burning and very raw and tender.

It turned out that the tube was too tight to the skin and it wasn't draining the

natural juices like it was supposed to so they were backing up and building

pressure. What a relief, almost as soon as the doctor loosened it up I was

feeling alot better. It started draining almost immediately. The doctor

cleaned it up and put a bandage over it to help keep it from leaking all over my

shirt. He told Ruby and I to keep a gauze bandage over it for a few days till

the leakage was back to normal. It has been several hours since and I am

feeling alot better and the burning has dissapaered and the raw and tenderness

has subsided tremendously.

Now that we know it was an ulcer that has been giving me all the problems I

should be on the road to recovery and maybe somewhat a normal life what with the

problems I have been having.
