Guest guest Posted July 16, 2003 Report Share Posted July 16, 2003 Hi all. Hope you are all doing as well as can be. I had my appointment with my new Internist last week and he is wonderful! He has had extra training in GI and especially with the pancreas. He finally took me off the Hydrocodone (was on for 2 1/2 years) and put me on Percocet 10. He also took me off the Duragesic patch because I was having a severe reaction to it and put me on OxyContin 20 mg twice a day. He is also good friends with my GI doctor and they play tennis together. They have talked and decided that I just need pain control. So far, this regime is working great. I haven't felt this well in a long time. In response to some other posts, I also cannot bend over and have such pain in the mornings that I can barely move or get out of bed. I have aches ALL OVER, feet, back especially, hips, everywhere. Is this part of CP? Also, I have these kind of like blisters on my fingers and hands, which I had my new doc look at and he thought this might be the start of skin problems associated with CP. What does anyone know about this? Hope everyone is having a decent day. Please let me know what you all think about these things.
