Guest guest
I have been recently diagnosed with Actute Pancreatitis and I don't know what to do to help myself. I had an attack in Nov/hospitalized and then again in Jan/hospitalized, and am having attacks now, but my enzymes aren't elevated, so I am just trying to take care of myself at home. The Doctor offered no help when my enzymes weren't elevated. I wonder...Do other people with this have horrible intenstinal spasms? I get them often...and afer I eat too. My stools turned to a real light clay color and I know I am having attacks. The heartburn is driving me nuts. Are there certain foods I should avoid? Right now I am eating rice, soft foods, etc. I do not drink...the Doctors say this is genetic, though it only started after I took medications Nexium and Protonix. Can anyone help me? Am I going to die from this? Do people live long lives with this? I wonder what I can do for myself to make this stop? Paints
