Guest guest Posted October 13, 2003 Report Share Posted October 13, 2003 Hi all, I also have a bas taste from time to time. I have CP and SOD and I was told it was from SOD. I think it also comes from the pancreatic enzymes. By the way, do any of you have severe night sweats. I was told that was from SOD, but last August I had a sphincteroplasty and ductoplasty to supposedly " cure " my SOD, but it failed. I have a congenital loop in my pancreatic duct and my pressures also are elevated, but they have stopped doing ERCP's because of the acute attacks of CP. I am in a catch 22 with that. The night sweats are getting worse. I can actually feel the sweat dripping down my face from my head. I am soaked several times a night. I have to change sheets and especially my pillow case and night shirt. I sleep with very light thin clothes at night so I don't get too hot. I also wonder if this is not the start of menopause. I also get severe hot flashes to the point that I want to just rip my clothes off. Any input would be appreciated. Hope you all have a pain free day. Thoughts and prayers. T.
