Hi all!

Well, we finished the last two of 6L of Colonlytely yesterday! That child

of mine never ceases to amaze me. I don't think I could manage to drink 6L

with the minimal complaints that she produces.....

We had an ultrasound this morning - the lump in her caecum is cleared.

Unfortunately, they couldn't come up with any physical reasons for why these

lumps keep forming, so now I have to organise a barium enema for a six year

old. Having had one myself, I really don't know how they are going to

achieve this..... It's certainly going to involve lots of sedation, I know

that much!

Hope Eilish recovers quickly from her op. .

Much love to all at CF parents,

My 3 year old had a barium enema a few weeks ago. They didn't sedate him

because they wouldn't be able to see his intestines work if they did. He

was a very good boy and handled it very well. I always prepare him ahead of

time before any procedure by explaining to him on his level what they are

going to do and why. It wasn't any fun of course but it wasn't the worst

test he has ever had done.
