Laurie,

I read your message to Debbie and Suzy regarding pain meds, and I had a

thought. Your doctor may have denied the change in meds/dosage because

you were referred to a pain clinic and wants them to deal with the issue

of pain medication from now one. I've noticed that after a while,

doctors seem to want to distance themselves from prescribing pain

medications if a pain clinic/specialist is available. At least, that's

what I've run into.
