I'm no expert on stools anymore, I go by smell. YUCK!!!!

But as someone else pointed out consistency is probably your best bet at

the moment, if in doubt ask your doctor - I would anyway.

Losing weight is fairly common in babies, has he grown recently? I do

remember times with Ainslie that she really did not want to feed and

other times that is all she would do. On the other hand Connor nocf he

breastfed really well but he was never a round baby whereas Ainslie

was. Even now Ainslie doesn't have ribs sticking out - never has- but

Connor does and he eats more than Ainslie.

Again if he has lost alot of weight get some advice. Do you have health

nurses or baby health centres close by? When Ainslie was a baby I took

her each week to be weighed and measured, if she lost weight but grew in

length I didn't worry too much. I think that is what got me through

those initial 12 months - knowing what her body was doing.

Hope my rattling on has helped.

Terri
