Guest guest
I went to the library the other day. My boys were in a Yu-Gi-Oh duel tournanment. So I looking up Cystic Fibrosis while I was waiting. Would you believe that had only 1 book called " Cystic Fibrosis " dated 1993. I was very upset. They had every other medical condition, all up to date books, anything you wanted, but not CF. Yes, I had a little talk with the librarian! mom of 2 w/cf
Guest guest
There ARE newer books out there. We get most of ours from our clinic visits, because they tend to get them first. Our from our great list-mates. There's a great one by a teenage girl called " Stevie's Secret " that my daughter really loved. The best part, was she handed it to her best friends and let them read it and they got a much better understanding of what she was going through. I, as an adult, enjoyed it to because it let me see my daughter's side of CF, which is very hard to do!
