Guest guest
Bert, That is a true testament to the power of God, the strength of the human spirit, & /or validation that love conquers all. You know that you are doing something right when you are able to set aside the pain of post-op recovery, financial woes, and otherwise stressful situations that chronic illness and surgery bring, to focus on the wonderful gifts that are present on each of our journeys. We are not always able to see the silver lining around the clouds, the rainbow through the storm, or take a step back to see if the glass is half empty or half full. I celebrate your renewed journey! It reminds me to take time to regularly read the prayer of St. Francis " Where there is despair...hope. Where there is darkness. light. Where there is sadness...joy. And, so on.
