Hi Sandy,

I am sorry to hear that you are having troubles and not getting a diagnosis.

It is so frustrating, believe me I know. It has been my past experience that

Ultrasounds and CT's do not show any damage to MY pancreas. It wasn't until

I was in surgery that the doctor could actually see inflammation and hardness

of my pancreas. All prior tests (CT's, ultrasounds, amylase & lipase) were

always normal. This disease can be very difficult to diagnose. I hope that you

find some well deserved answers soon.

Sending lots of happy thoughts your way.....

Hi Sandi,

My dx of chronic pancreatitis was done years ago and my US always came back

normal, in fact I only had a enlarged liver. My CT Scan also is " normal " .

By the way I have had eleveated enzymes levels, but not so much, 20 or 30

points.

Look, I not feel normal, and if you are having health problems, you need a

proper dx.

I suffered a year before mine. I was having abdominal pain, lost of weight,

and diahrrea.

I also have others GI troubles, as reflux, recurring hiatal hernia, weak LES

and a loose fundo surgery and a nasty daily nausea.

Talk to your doc and if you are not happy, see another, for a second opinion

I'm 37 yo.

I always do my blood test in fasting, in the next day that I'm not feeling

OK, but sometimes I do in any day, also in fasting, only to check.

Good Luck,

Liane
