Guest guest
A bath is a wonderful thing, Myrna ... so relaxing! Sorry to hear it created an infection. It's not your fault ... things happen all the time-even when we're the most careful. Hopefully you are relaxing in bubbles with no feeding tube! (Was yours a nasal feeding tube?) When my husband was 'nothing by mouth' for two months, I was trained to care for and feed him in a central line in an artery above his heart. Talk about nervous!!! I was afraid I'd cause him an infection. Thank goodness we moved him to another hospital where they put the nasal feeding tube down into the jejunum (they told us the central line shouldn't stay in for more than a week because it's too easy to get an infection with that type). Nasal feedings worked a lot better. Pray pray pray ... it helps! I thanked God the other night my husband was in the next room ... it's nice to have him around. And it's nice to have met you, Myrna!!! Warmly, Beth
