When I have talked to people that are telling me things like my child is sick

all of the time and there doctor thinks they have asthma, and they have a

cough that never seems to go away. I will say that sounds like my child

before they were diagnosed with CF and the parent will usually say well there

is know history of CF in my family so the doctor are not concern about that

being a possibility. I don't know how many times I have told people there

wasn't in my family either at least that I knew of. CF can be there it's just

wasn't always talked about or sometimes not even known that is what it was.

I ALWAYS WONDER TOO....My Grandma lost 6 children to pnumonia, stillbirth and

just small sickly babies that wouldn't grow (that's what they called them) I

wonder . I often say I think it could have been Cf. Just a thought.

that is probably a good assumption because they didn't really know what it was

then.
