Celiac Plexus blocks??.Been in hospital.CP is nowmoderately severe

Hi everyone.

Hope this finds you all well as possible. I have been away

sooo long doing hospital and Doc stuff. Has anyone else been told

they went from mild CP to moderately severe CP in less than 6 mos

time? I was at California Pacific med center in San Francisco for

over a week after a stent was placed for the 2nd time,also had

elevated manometry studies,but now at least it's in black and white

now and other people don't have to doubt how sick I really am. Do any

of you know much about steroid celiac plexus blocks? They want me to

try it before they have to do a whipple procedure as last resort.But

I have heard there is only a 30% chance of it working and if it

doesn't I was told the pain is 10x worse...I need some input if

anyone can tell me about their Celiac block experiences....Is it

worth trying? I already take 50mg Norco daily and demerol 50 mg at

bed time.Any input is so GREATLY appreciated. God bless you all.
