Guest guest Posted July 19, 2003 Report Share Posted July 19, 2003 I would be interested to hear from anyone who has HP. I have recently been diagnosed as having HP. I have had it for about for 52 years, having had attacks of one kind or another since I was a very little girl. Despite the fact that my mother had pancreatitis, for vaious reasons my own diagnosis has come very late. I had a diagnosis of coeliac disease in 1988 but it now appears that that was probably a mistaken diagnosis. The symptoms and possible treatments are the same as for CP in general, as far as I am aware. I am now part of a study (Europac) on HP being co-ordinated at Liverpool University (U.K.).
