Guest guest
Sandy, I also live in California. It was in California that I was " detained " by the sheriffs and questioned for my use of the handicap placard. Please be careful using your husbands placard. They will take it away from you and you will not get it back. They will also fine you and it is a misdemeanor to use it if it is not yours. I received my placard because the pancrease pain makes me short of breath. Try that approach to get your own placard. It is not worth the fine or the misdemeanor if you get caught. Simi Valley, CA PS The district attourney in our area (Ventura County) says they are really cracking down it because there is so little crime here that they have to enforce it to get funds in county's coffers. > > > Date: 2003/11/03 Mon AM 09:42:06 PST > To: pancreatitis > Subject: Re: Handicapped Services > >
Guest guest
Kaye, definitely sounds like this lady is on a serious power trip over her patients. Definitely get rid of this woman. And she can't over rule any Advanced Directive that you give (ie. Advanced instructions on your care if you are unable to make you wishes known at that particular time, though you probably already know that. I'd definitely have some written up and have it put in your medical record). You have my prayers that you find a better doctor as soon as possible. Kimber -- Kimber Vallejo, CA hominid2@...
