Guest guest
Hi Patty I'm so sorry that Cassie has pain that her doctor's aren't treating properly. I have to say that we had a bit of a bumpy start with the pain team, but we wound up with Dr. Navil Sethna treating Joey's pain. This man was truly sent from heaven. I can't tell you the number of times he has exceeded the normal doctor/patient relationship. There are so many examples, but the one that I'd like to share is about Joey's surgery. He insisted on being the anesthesiolgist for what turned out be a 15 1/2 hour surgery. He refused to leave when the second team arrived and actually stayed at the hospital until the next day. Most of the rest of the team have been wonderful too, but there is nothing worse than when the new interns arrive and think they know better than the doctors who have been managing a situation for years. If you can get an appointment with Dr. Sethna, I would definitely recommend taking the time to see him. Thank you for your kind words! We will keep Cassie and your whole family in our prayers.
