Guest guest
Keeley Just went and got Eilish's salt powder to read the label. It says " sodium chloride compound powder " . That is what it is called. On the back of the label it says ' Electrolyte content per gram = Na+1mmol, K+0.23mmol, CI 0.28mmol Dissolve the prescribed amount in water and take as directed. Hope this helps. (Australia) p.s. we get it from the hsp. pharmacy Australian Mums - Help with salt powder questions please! I spoke with a pharmacist yesterday who didn't know what salt powder was, but was able to find some and order it. The pharmacy called me today and verified that it was in and that I didn't need a perscription to pick it up. When I asked what the bottle said they told me " equal parts of sodium chloride and sodium bicarbonate " , " mix 2tsp. in 1 quart water for irrigation or use as directed by a physician " . Is this the same as your salt powder? I know one of you said that your pharmacy made their own. If your bottle doesn't say what specifically it's made of, would you call and ask them? I haven't picked it up yet, so I don't know how it tastes. I don't want to give it to Leila until I'm sure the sodium bicarbonate part is right. Thank you very much for your help!! Keeley mom to Leila, almost 8m. wcf, and Hadley 2.9yrs. nocf P.S. Is salt powder dosed the same as regular table salt? And also, what's a cordial? The only cordials I'm familiar with are cherry cordials (as in the the chocolate covered cherries - my personal fav )
