Guest guest
Hello Holly, a here, I am going to enquire about one of these here in Australia. Thanks for the information. Regards Holly Felax wrote: Thanks to everyone who replied to my post regarding the rainbow vacuum cleaner. What I was really interested in was hearing if anyone had any information, thoughts, or experiences with the rainbow air purification system. For those that are confused, The rainbow is a vacuum, air purification system and humidifier/ dehumidifier all in one. The way the air purifier works is that you fill up their bowl with water and place in underneath the canister. You can add their special fragrances to the water or use essential oils. The machine sucks in air and all of the dust and debris gets deposited into the water. The air goes through a hepa filter and exits the other side purified. It is also supposed to humidify/dehumidify the air. They say that no matter what the humidity of the air going in is, it always exits at I think he said 42% humidity. Which is supposedly ideal. Also, some people were concerned about the use of water and it growing bacteria. I don't think that is a problem because you are suppose to use fresh water for each use and then empty and clean the bowl when finished. One last thing that I wanted to say is that I have never seen a vacuum pick up so much dust and cat hair without it flying everywhere. When I emptied the bowl after I was done vacuuming there was even sand in it from way, way, down in the carpet. I KNOW that none of my previous vacuums did such an amazing job. Anyway, back to the air purifier.....Any thoughts?? Guest guest
We have a rainbow. My aunt has sold them for around 12 years now. She gave us a new one when Patti was first diagnosed. We use is every day. The water does not sit in it, so it doesn't breed anything nasty. Yes you will have to dump out muddy water for a while but after a month or so you carpets will be clean enough to no longer make the water that dirty. As a vacuum it is spectacular. For the air cleaner part...it would depend on how long you ran it in each room for it to be able to purify the air in the house. I don't know exactly how long that would take. Sorry I can't be of more help here. Dawn mom of 4, 7 and under, the youngest wcf the rainbow air purification system Thanks to everyone who replied to my post regarding the rainbow vacuum cleaner.
