Guest guest
Tonight, I was flipping channels and caught the end of Oprah's After Show program. It was really fascinating -- this guy who goes around the country showing kids new and fun ways to learn math. He stumbled upon his new vocation in a truly serendipitous moment while serving in the Navy in Japan. Oprah gave his web site at the end of the program. I went to the site because I was so intrigued by what he had to day, and I'm always looking for fun ways to teach math to struggling students. Imagine my suprise to see that he has a link to the Boomer Esiason Foundation and a portion of sales from his math videos/CD's is donated to the BEF for CF. His web site is www.humancalculator.com If you have little ones in school, this is really worth checking out and you're helping raise funds for CF research at the same time.
